AI photo culling & organization

Cull the shoot.
Keep the shots.

Monarch triages large shoots the way you would — just faster. It reviews every frame, sorts them into Keep, Needs Eye, and Kill, and hands the calls back to Lightroom so you spend your time editing, not sifting.

Features

  • Tiered AI pre-review

Tier 1 measures what a light meter would: focus, motion, exposure, contrast, and sorts every frame into Keep, Needs Eye, or Kill. Tier 2 answers the harder one: of these near-identical frames, which is the strongest, and why.

  • Built for big shoots

Import a folder of several hundred frames and it batches them for you. Progressive thumbnails, a keyboard-first review, and an overnight queue that emails you when it's done.

  • Lightroom-compatible

Ratings, colour labels, keywords, and the full reasoning are written into the files themselves so they're there when you import, no sidecars, no plugin. Filter by monarch-pick in a Smart Collection and step straight through the picks in Develop.

  • Groups how photographers shoot

Monarch gives you multiple views of your shoot: the burst of the same street corner or the six attempts at the same interior, and asks the comparison question within each group. The sets you'd have had to find by hand are already assembled.

  • It tells you why

Every verdict comes with a plain-language reason, not a score. Tier 2 goes further: it names the frame it picked, explains what makes it stronger than the alternatives, and often suggests the crop that would improve it. That reasoning follows the photo into Lightroom.

  • You have the final say

Monarch suggests — you decide. Every call is a starting point you can override in a keystroke, and nothing is deleted without you.
